Scott Ramminger is a singer, songwriter, and sax man. After living for many years in the Washington DC area. he recently relocated to Nashville, TN. Ramminger's new CD. "Do What Your Heart Says To." is being released Feb. 17. His previous CDs have received extensive airplay on blues radio, including XM's Bluesville Channel 70, and excellent reviews from a wide range of publications including "Downbeat," "No Depression," and "Blues Matters." Ramminger will be at the Blue 5 with Pete Ragusa on drums and Jan Zukowski on bass. The two formed the backbone of the popular blues band, "The Nighthawks" for more than 30 years. David Kitchen, who fronts his own band and is a member of the popular DC band, "The Thrillbiilies" will appear with Scott on guitar and vocals. “Ramminger puts a modern twist on Southern influenced textures emblematic of Robert Cray and John Lee Hooker as he invites audiences to be a part of the music.. . .  A hearty dose of Americana-driven melodies that leave the audience wanting more." -- Yahoo Entertainment The latest record, “Do What Your Heart Says To,” features 14 original tunes featuring a New Orleans rhythm section that includes Shane Theriot on guitar; David Torkanowsky on keys; George Porter Jr. on bass; and Doug Belote on drums. Guest vocalists singing with Scott on the record include Tommy Malone, Bekka Bramlett, Francine Reed, The McCrary Sisters, and Roddie Romero. Ramminger has performed up and down the East Coast with his previous band, Scott Ramminger & The Crawstickers. He has also played gigs as a sax player with a variety of national acts including world-renowned Nashville songwriter Gary Nicholson, Louisiana blues and soul man Eric Lindell, and up-and-coming blues artist, Andy Poxon, and many others. On nights we offer music, Blue 5 offers two seatings for our guests:
1) An early seating for guests who do NOT wish to stay for the live entertainment.
2) A late seating for guests who want the option to stay for the live entertainment.

PLEASE NOTE: Early seating reservations have a 2-hour allotment before the seating
following their reservation, which allows plenty of time to enjoy dinner with us.
